Recorded Live one balmy, starry summer night in the charismatic Katerina Ruins in Nuremberg, Germany. This 1st set (CD1) welcomed in the twilight for the audience of several hundred exposed to the oncoming night sky, but enveloped by the crumbling stone walls and historic ambience of a once majestic structure. The improvising Quartet embraced the specialness of the moment, celebrating their experience, respect and joy of performing together, creating a concert still talked about over 20 years later.
