Equator Symphony - Circle of Life

Synopsis:
The composer Trevor Coleman turned 300 minutes of music from the acclaimed Equator documentary series into a one-hour symphony, comprising of an overture and six movements, one for each of the locations in the series: Amazon, Andes, Pacific, Borneo, Coral and Africa. Pictures from the series accompany and complement the music. The premiere performance by the Southern Sinfonia and the City of Dunedin Choir, with soloist Cally Hammond-Tooke and conducted by Peter Adams and David Burchell, was held in the Dunedin Town Hall on Saturday 24 March 2007.
